Near the end of my internship at DDB, I had a last-minute swing at a McDonald's Happy Meal & Squishmallows brief. I wrote and conceptualized a TV spot that explored the meaning of comfort, highlighting real kids in authentic moments - and how their Squishmallows Happy Meal toys helped give a little comfort.

Although this spot was extremely close to getting produced, the campaign was ultimately taken in another direction. I'm still proud to share the script/concept that the client originally greenlit, and what would have been an insufferable bragging point for an intern.
